Lt. Vidal Murray and Rescue Chief Rodney Krone of the Hamilton Rescue Squad earned the Meritorious Action award for rescuing a motorist who was stranded on top of his vehicle on Lime Kiln Road in the middle of the night Jan. 31, 2013, during a serious storm.
